3. Written by dave on February 14, 2012 from moreno valley, california, US I just met this scumbag, I was at a parking lot of a petsmart on the phone. A grey ford sedan pulls up next to me and he notices I'm on the phone and signals for me to finish my convo. I get irritated cause he's just staring at me, so I hang up and ask him what does he need. He tells me that he's from italy and he works for Emporio Armani and he was here for a convention and that he is lost and needs to find the airport. So I give him directions and then he starts to small talk. He then drops the whole sales pitch, that he received 4 jackets for free at this "convention" but that he can't take them back to italy cause he has to pay extra in the plane. Appearantly working for Armani means you're dirt poor, anyways he shows me the jackets and they looked nice and the material felt legit. He showed me how I can attempt to burn them with a lighter and they won't burn. He shows me the italian flag tags outside of the jackets, and they're wrapped in this EA plastic cover. All in all it all looks real and the dude is dressed and talks with an italian accent. I can see he is a pro at this and he tells me that if I buy 1 jacket at 400 he will give me 3 others. Now I look at him like cmon man who sells EA jackets for 400 and gives 3. So he is pretty convincing and I started to fall for it. He asked if I was interested and I said no I don't have 400 and he asks how much do you have and I stupidly said 200 thinking at the time that he will drive off cause that's not the amount he was looking for. I was wrong he then said cause he likes me he will do it. I was like *** and he starts handing them to me and holding his hand out like give me the cash. I was like I don't have it on me, its in the bank, then he asks if he can follow me to the bank. At this point I was convinced but then on the way to the bank I asked myself wtf am I doing. So we arrive at the bank and the atm is out of order so I have to go into the lobby. While in the lobby I googled fake EA jackets found this site and I snapped back into reality. I walked back outside and got in my truck and drove off and he looked at me like what happened. I floored it and left that *** behind he didn't look happy but if he wanted to follow it was ok with me I would more than happy to lead him to an alley and kick his italian ***. SO BEWARE don't fall for it, nothing in life is free. Thank you guys for posting this and looking out for the rest of us.

5. Written by Shame on me on December 7, 2011 from stockholm, stockholms lan, SE This guy is now in Stockholm. I would neeever buy anything from a guy at a parking lot but yesterday I actually did. I can't believe how *** I was. He was extreemly convincing in his role. He was on his way to the airport to go back to Milano coming from a fashion convention in the city. He had to get rid of some clothes that he couldn't bring on the flight because of this and that. I was really sceptical and called my wife who knows italian and asked him to talk to her. She believed him as well over the phone. The clothes looked really nice and it looked like armani logos to me. The wrappings and tags looked real. This guy is a pro. But of course I should have asked more questions and looked more closely on the clothes and on his business card and I would have noticed that it was fake. The email adress was @hotmail.it. Riiight!! I'm ashamed of myself!

7. Written by CD on October 31, 2011 from calgary, alberta, CA Ha ha, the guy (I don't know if it's the same) is in Calgary now. He was at Heritage Meadows Superstore, asking for directions to the airport and giving off some jackets, free. I don't know what kind of trick he used because I didn't buy the whole thing. Pretty convincing though.
8. Written by Scammer in South Jersey!!! on October 28, 2011 from wayne, new jersey, US I was approached in Walmart parking lot in Cinnaminson, NJ. Guy said he's giving away armani jackets. Thin short italian guy with broken english dressed with an Italian polo shirt with flag. Said he was in US for a fashion convention in Atlantic city and was on his way back to Italy. Showed me proof of his passport, car rental agreement and flight ticket. This guy was very very convincing. But the jackets had a weird armani logo. The wings were rounded off. I didn't fall for it. Becareful!!!!
